First time in Sicily and I choose Palermo as a starting point since it got direct flight from London. Catch the bus in the airport and it sent me directly to the plaza.
The hotel is not hard to find when you could locate Mcdonalds, it's just few blocks away from it. I arrived at 10 and the bar close to the hotel is still full of people. I got a room upgrade so I got the little balcony, which is fancing the church.
The room itself is big and comfy, the design is a bit old school but sort of classy, the toliet is quiet modern though.
I didn't book the breakfast so I just grab something from downstairs and eat on my balcony, which is so relaxing and chill. You can even got a bit of sun at the afternoon. The hotel is located in the centre, so basically you can walk to everywhere, even to the train station, it may take you 30 mintues, but it's good to wander around. After two days, I already feel like home here, people is friendly and the air con is working so well. So after some long walk in town, you can always cool down in your room.
And if you dont wanna walk too much, bus stop is just 5 mintues away, which can take you to the train station. And the hop on/off bus just 10 mintues away if you wanna check out the whole town/ beaches.
Ask the staff at front desk, they'll help you out for anywhere you wanna go!
