We booked online through Expedia. There was choice of standard double room or two single bed room. We obviously chose the double room.

Once we arrived, we had to wait 30 minutes at the reception for the woman to "figure things out" from the reservation

When we were finally handed a key card, we went up to our room, and to our surprise we saw two single beds.

We went back down to ask for another room as we specifically chose the double room
we were told there was nothing they could do. They just offered to "push the beds together" as a solution. We told them not to show double rooms available if they dont have any, and all he could say is that they were overbooked for the double rooms.

Oh. Reception smells like hair spray, it's unbearable.

My friend and I stayed at the hotel through a BA deal. Because we paid so little I wasn't expecting to much as people on Tripadvisor were saying that it was average.
It pretty much exceed my expectations, it is in a excellent location, it has AC, good bathroom facilities and good beds (I do like a firm bed). Yes the breakfast was nothing ground breaking but we weren't paying for ground breaking. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful.
If you are expecting the RITZ or Four seasons you are going to be thoroughly disappointed, if you are after a good basic clean modern hotel then this is perfect.

This is a centrally located hotel but no parking is offered.Staff is helpfull .rooms are ok- and quiet during the night - ,(even though they would certainly need some new paint on the walls) and so is breakfast .
The general impression is that of a 3 star hotel and not a 4.

This is a clean comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and a good breakfast. It is in a good part of Palermo - a posh neighbourhood with designer shops and lovely restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to the historic centre but feels safe compared to some of the edgier parts of the city

My partner and myself stayed here for 7 days in July. The room was proper; basic but it all looked what you expect from a hotel in this price range.

We had a kingsize bed which was ok but not the most comfortable for your back. The "high speed" internet was definitely not in our room, since we struggled most of our days to receive a proper speed. We mentioned this to the lobby, and promised they would have look at it the next day, but nothing was done.

Bathroom looked great, though quality wise it fell short; the warm water did not always run smoothly, the strength of the water was rather low and the water tab in the sink looked like a IKEA product (it actually came off the sink at one point).

Noise wise the room was really nice, the windows were nicely isolating the street noise and thick curtains gave complete darkness which was very nice to sleep.

Breakfast in the morning was arranged smoothly, though I just missed something extra or exciting every day. Small breads, two types of juices, some sweets and fruits were served every day. Would have been nice of they showed some variation a few times.

Overall, this hotel is good enough to stay a few days, 7 days might be a bit too long but we never felt uncomfortable here.

Stayed: July 2014
