Was introduced to the many flavours of Sicily which are as diverse as it's history. Wonderful dining experience. Delighted by Lorenza who new exactly what I would like. Tiramisu wonderful. Looked after well by multilingual waitress, Shamima. Definitely recommend.

My family had dinner at il Principe in June 2014. The eggplant ravioli was spectacular. The pasta was of the highest quality. The desserts were also excellent. I recommend this restaurant highly.

We were on our second try for a restaurant for dinner as in Palermo parking is a challenge when we passed this restaurant. It had a lovely layout and we decided to try it as it had a TripAdvisor stickerin the windows. The inside was nicely laid out and it presented well. It went down hill fast.
The service started well and considering our Italian was non existant, the handled of getting our orders taken was well done. As I am allergic to seafood I often have limited choices, but at 8:15 they were out of 2 of the 4 choices thad did not have seafood. The wine and water arrived quickly but after that service ground to a halt. The bread was burnt salty pizza dough. A member of our party order ravioli with shrimp; it was essentially 2 large egg roll like wrappers with seafood in it, including octopus, shrimp heads on,, clams, tomatoes and other non distinguishable food stuffs. Not at all appealing and tssted marginally better. Than the main course arrived. One was tuna with cold green beans and a cold green of some sort. The other two dishes ordered were a beef roll of some sort, they were somecut of beef with the same unappetizing cold vegetables that were serviced weith the Tuna. We decided to for go desserts. So for 1 bottle of wine, 2 water, one first course and 3 second courses we paid a 100.00 euros. Over priced and the worst meal I have had during my travels including Italy. Btw this is my 5th trip to italy. I can't recommend this restaurant
for any reason. Also cannot understand the slow service because there were less than20 persons in the restaurant. Definitely a 3 dressed up as a 9, with 9 costs.
