The B&B is fantastic, the location is ideal.
If you rent a car the parking is a bit difficult, but ask the lady for tips, she is very helpful.
The rooms are all spacious, clean and very pretty. We stayed in the "Normanna" room, which i think is the best because it is the biggest and located in the inside of the building, therefore quieter than the other rooms which face the busy "Via Vittorio Emanuele".

The lady is very nice and helpful, breakfast is top quality.

Highly recommended!

My family and I live in Italy part of the year and this summer we had a chance for a trip to Palermo.

We (my wife, our daughter, my parents, and I) stayed at the B&B 4 Quarti. In short, the Palazzo became the highlight of our stay in Sicily.

Our expectations were exceeded in every way possible. This is not your standard B&B -- think private palazzo that will be the subject of fond dreams and memories for years to come.

The property itself is a separate part of the Count and Countessa's private palazzo and has been refurbished with elegance, style, and comfort. Period pieces and frescoes in the bedrooms and common rooms, modern, striking bathrooms, and air conditioning (especially in August in Palermo) go a long way in my book. If Architectural Digest wishes to do a piece on the charm of Palermo's private palaces, they now know where to start.

Yet, to suggest that 4 Quarti is simply and mainly a beatiful property misses the mark. The owners are elegant, kind people who truly enjoy being hosts. With a sincerity often missing in larger hotels, we had many a private chat about the goings on in Palermo and they expressed a true interest in both our comfort and anything they could do to make our stay more exciting and insightful. Not to mention offering us breakfast (wonderful!) upon arrival--our very early arrival. By the way, this was followed with a tour of their private quarters (the main palazzo) that is perhaps best described as a window into pre-Savoy, Bourbon Sicily.

When we return to Palermo, we will stay here. Five star luxury married to style, charm, and kindness.

My wife & I stayed here for 3 nights, it is in a superb position, everywhere is walkable from here.
the accomodation is superb ,the painting & decorating is of a very high standard, obviously the owner knows some very experianced craftsmen.
The lady owner was beautifull & very pleasent.
Restaurent Casa del Brodo, is a trattoria on same street as hotel on opposite side of road towards sea, excellent quality & price.Menu of day at 18 Euros was delicious.
Trattoria Primavera in Piazza Bologni 100 meters from B&B was absolutaly dreadfull, food awful with dire service ,avoid.
We would definatly stay here again.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Sicily, spending our last 2 nights in Palermo at the B&B 4 Quarti. It was a real gem. We felt like we were in a palace. The rooms were large, bathroom beautifully tiled, and the place was immaculate. The location is in the heart of old Palermo and you definitely can revel in the Sicilian cultue. Staying at the 4 Quarti was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Simona.

We stayed at the 4 Quarti last Sept. and loved it. We had a spacious suite with a lovely balcony where we enjoyed watching the street life of Palermo. The rooms are elegant with beautiful decor. We had our own key and the 4 Quarti is very centrally located so we walked everywhere to see the sights. The 4 Quarti has a lovely breakfast room and each morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast before setting out on our adventures. The owner was very helpful with securing us a taxi to the airport and came by daily to say hello and make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this B & B. It's a fabulous value and made our trip to Palermo truly memorable.
