For 6 days I enjoyed the Sicilian hospitality in a fine newly opened B&B, Casa Galati, in the historic and commercial centre of Palermo and also at 5' walk distance from the bus to airport. I stayed 5 days in the biggest room, called 1001 Citta and for 1 day in the smallest , with 2 beds, all v. confortable. I visited all 5 rooms, these are beautiful, with high ceilings - normal in a 17th century pallazzo, The hall, library and breakfast room are so spacious, decorated with taste and charming paintings. And the breakfast ! everything I like, including home -baked bread by the owner himself :-) Last but not least, the owners are charming, cultivated, speak English - et un peu Francais, such excellent guides for visiting Palermo and surroundings. Grazie tanto per tutto, I'll be back!
