Excellent pasta - spaghetti al nero di seppia was outstanding. The pesce spada simply cooked,as it should be, was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and just cooked. We asked for a particular type of wine, which we were told they didn't have, only to see it in the display wine case as we were going out! The service was adequate, but not impressive. The waitress looking after us was efficient but distant, and really wasn't interested in giving us any input (the wine for example). She was not Italian.
The restaurant was busy, but we were in a quiet corner. Not particularly cheap, but then fish never is. We skipped the desert menu and went out for a walk and some ice cream.
