Nice hotel, OK spa but very nice massages available, lovely staff but one night we were the only guests. Yes, I know it was December but the hotel is really off the beaten track, so there are not really places to go in the evening, anywhere close, so most evenings it was eat and go to bed.
We had a suite with a great jacuzzi in the small enclosed garden but it also has a sauna with an entertainment centre.
Bar staff wonderful with one guy a real mixologist and funny with it.
Be aware Sicily is essentially closed at this time of year unless you are in the centre of Syracuse. Even the local gelataria looked at us as though we were mad, when we asked for an ice cream. Ice cream was there none.More
