A Family run, fresh food restaurant. Nothing Pretentious ...just darn good food and good wine. Clean and bright with good service.
We went on our 1st night in Taormina.......(We were staying at the Belvedere and it was a short enough walk and 1st night we didn't want to go hunting food) We were very pleasantly surprised. pasta dishes are Top notch ..Fresh fish is superbly done ..Order ahead of time if you can as it sells out pretty quickly ....and when its gone ..its gone ! and their Big Prawns ..to die for .. we had 'em as a main coures and then had 'em as a starter another evening !

Lovely friendly staff who speak English real well , German and French too I think. We could have eaten anywhere in Taormina, but could not be bothered with the fuss and the chance of being disappointed ... so al Giardino saw us every night !!
Try it out ... You will NOT be disappointed ...darn good food, home cooking and real friendly staff !!
Thank you for taking care of us for 4 nights.

Thank Barry B

This family-run gem was recommended to us and we loved it so much we ate there 3 times. The pasta is homemade and the sauces are rich and tasty without being sickly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming as are the lovely staff and it is an indoor/outdoor experience as the roof can be rolled on or off depending on the weather. Definitely worth a visit.

A fun, informal restaurant. I liked the pasta fagioli and veal milanese for a change of pace from seafood. Also couscous was good.

Down by the public gardens. I had the Ravioli Gorgonzola with ground pistachios, in a cream sauce. It was very rich, but very good, I would suggest sharing this pasta. My friend's veal Marsala was very good, but her green beans were not so much. No view, but nice garden setting.

This restaurant is located in a quiet area, not in the loud centre of the city. The staff is friendly and understands English. The food is delicious and the prices are fair.
We had a nice dinner there.
