Personal tour is what it is, personal. Therefore, the experience that we got out of the tour could go either way and it's entirely subjective. I booked with SunnySicily to visit the baroque towns of Noto, Modica & Ragusa. My allocated guide was Giancarlo and he's very eloquent with the history and of the towns that I visited and he would tie their histories into the fabric of Sicily and its co-relationship with the mainland, Italy. We dabbled in everything and Giancarlo and the driver joined me for lunch and they took me to an Osteria that's popular with local people. It's comfort food at its best. The tour is paced and it's never rushed. Even the driver drove at an even pace and so, everything was comfortable to say the least. I said it before and I say it now, the best mean to get your money's worth in Sicily is to book for a tour such as this instead of spending much of your time negotiating your way through the bus schedules and to try to tie them in with other places that you want to go. Sicily is not as logistically logical compared with other parts of Europe. That being said, Sicily is such an enchanting place to visit and I would highly recommend SunnySicily to reviewers out there.
