My wife and I spent a terrific half-day being guided around Taormina by Chiara Rozzi. She was extremely knowledgable about the usual sites we visited, including the Greco-Roman theatre, and added numerous details and anecdotes that greatly enhanced our knowledge--and enjoyment. Most important, while subsequently walking all through the town, she led us to many sites off the beaten track, with stories from the history of the town that made us see Taormina in a new light. Her English was excellent--and apparently she has mastered several other languages as well. We've already recommended her to friends at home who are planning a Sicily vacation.
