“What an amazing view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2013

The family sea view room was amazing. Big and spacious and spotlessly clean. Have to mention the excellent cleaning staff that the hotel has. Our son was sick and the cleaning lady was so helpful and nothing was a problem and even came back every so often to clean and refresh our towels. She was an amazing lady. The hotel is very lucky to have her. The location of the hotel was perfect and the breakfast room had the most amazing view which made breakfast so enjoyable. We enjoyed the Paradise Beach Club pool with the kids. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we are in Taormina. Highly recommend this hotel. You will love it.

We have just returned from a week in Taormina and the Villa Paradiso is perfectly located in the most beautiful resort. The hotel is clean, cool, comfortable and our sea view room offered the most fabulous views of Etna. We travelled most days to the Paradise Beach Club, which was included in our package along with free mini bus transfers and it was superb. Every bar and restaurant in Taormina (all easily walked to from hotel) we visited were superb, if very expensive.

We spent five nights in Taormina and stayed at this hotel. We are really pleased with our choice and would thoroughly recommend it. It is not trying to be a top end hotel but rooms were clean, comfortable and the shower was excellent (very important to us). We paid extra for a sea view and whist it is stunning, the balcony was small and you got the same fantastic view but better at breakfast every morning. Hotel is almost worth it just for this view but it gets better. Staff were really friendly throughout but especially when we arrived late one evening by car (not for the faint hearted) and they just grabbed our car keys and moved all the cars around to park us outside the hotel. Location is excellent just minutes walk from the restaurants and sights but without passing noise. However, what made it great value for us was the free transport and entrance to their beach club - a very nice place to have lunch and spend a few hours by the pool or sea although the beach is very pebbly and the pool was busy at the weekend. Overall, a fantastic base for a few days of R&R in Taormina

Hotel Paradiso was an old hotel, alough everything was very clean the rooms were small.Everything is very expensive, (in hotel),£28 tax to use the phone.Eating out,and the taxi s overcharge on every trip. The sunshine makes the holiday enjoyable as does the pool .Sicily is beautiful but you must be fit as it is all hills and steps. If i was to go again I would not book into this hotel. a good tip for anyone going to Sicily, there is a bus outside the airport that takes you into Taormina for 7euro,a taxi will charge 100 euro,

This hotel is excellent. The position is ideal for seeing the town. We had a sea and Etna view which was wonderful.
The dining room is at the top and has the most wonderful panoramic view ever.
We made the mistake of having a car which is a nuisance in Taormina but the staff were wonderful in shuffling cars around to make room.
The rooms are furnished with original pieces so each one is very individual.
All in all a really excellent place to stay.

Room Tip: Opt for a sea view

this hotel was magic. High up on the hill at Taormina with quaint antiques and a view to die for. best view from the dining room we have ever had. great extensive breakfast , and top of the world!!Looking way down the coast and to Mt Etna which was gently smoking! we were there in may this year and it was a lovely place to stay. Very near the main walking streets. very friendly kind staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

Hotel Paradiso was a beautiful hotel. we just stayed in, in May. The rooms are very clean although somewhat small but comfortable and the bathroom was good. we had a patio with two French doors to open and listen to the sounds of Taormina. Located in the heart of Taormina so a car is really not needed for the city. You can walk all over. the front desk women, Antonella and Raffeala were so incredibly friendly and so helpful. Trying so hard to meet our needs with directions, restaurants, etc. we did eat at some excellent restaurants, one be Ristorante Pizzeria Gattopardo.. Food was so good and another 5 star was Trattoria da nino which I suggest reservations. and everything is cooked fresh. Sicily's food was incredible and the people are so friendly.

Room Tip: any room is good. you face either the sea or castelo mono the castle.
