We visited this restaurant 5 years ago and satisfied very much. When revisited this time, we didn't notice the change in name of the restaurant and, after finishing, noticed that the taste was different from what was before. However, English speaking staffs were very friendly and helpful.
We would suggest those who are revisiting this restaurant that the it is not Licchio's even though the Licchio's web site still exists.

Found this restaurant by chance as it didn't look like a restaurant from outside. Ate at this restaurant twice in a week. The food was excellent and extremely good value for money. The waiter Mark was also extremely helpful in helping us choose wine bringing various bottles for us to try and explained their different grapes etc without being patronising. All the staff were very friendly and it was the favourite place to eat for all of us.

Ended up in this restaurant as our first choice was closed for the night but were very pleased it was as we loved this restaurant.

Marc who served us was friendly and explained the wines without being too pretentious.

Enjoyed it so much booked to go again to save disappointment.

Only wish I had know about cookery course as I would definitely like to learn how to Cook their fish and veg risotto as it is by far the best I have ever tasted.

We were on a cruise ship and only going to be in Taormina for 8 hours and wanted to do something unique. Massimo offered just that with his demonstrations and knowledge and created incredible memories for all six of us that attended his cooking class. Another bonus was that the class was small and we were able to meet and chat with some very nice people that afternoon. He sure give us our moneys worth with the amount of time we had for the class however my only suggestion would be to make it a bit shorter. The day started to get hot and some people started to loose interest when we got to the fish cleaning part of the class.

We attended al Melograno to do a cooking class with Massimo. It began with a visit to the local market where we were given tips on how to look for the freshest produce and an explanation of some special Sicilian fruit and vegetables. Massimo bought fresh fish & seafood and then we headed back to the restaurant. Massimo conducted his class in a fun, hands on way. Once we had finished all our cooking and preparation we where then served our meal. It was all lovely and we also enjoyed lovely Sicilian wines. The cannoli served for dessert was divine. It was a great day.

Thank Annzie
