“Very Good”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

If you're looking to take some sweets home from Sicily or just have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the place. The pastries and cookies are delicious. You can also see the bakers making the cookies through a large window in the shop. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

“Wonderful little delights.”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

This amazing pasticceria is tucked away at the top of a little road just outside of the Porta Messina. We experienced something very special - ice cream cannoli - a cannolli shell filled with various home made ice cream (we had a hazlenut, cassatta, chocolate & pistachio) & then frozen, making it a truly unique treat that we shall never forget, each end covered in chocolate & nuts, you also had the chance to sample a different shell made from croccante, so crisp & flavourful. We also couldn't resist the little cakes that lined the cabinet - I really don't recall the names, but the first was a little doughnut filled with ricotta, light as air & with a subtle orange flavour & little chocolate delights, again the pastry was as light as air (it looked like a large chocolate truffle) & the surprise was that it has a dark chocolate custard filling, oh my you could so easily get carried away & eat a whole tray! I would most certainly recommend a visit to this little hidden gem.
