booked to stay 9 nights in standard room, on seeing the room, immediately disappointed, small and dark, balcony was over looked by next doors kitchen and only had a view of a wall! shower was a mixer tap in a bath with no shower enclosure so if you gads a shower you soaked the bathroom. breakfast was ok but the breakfast room was cramped. location is good close to town centre. i would not recommend staying more than as couple of nights here. the hotel needs to update itself and try to create some atmosphere
staff are nice!

It's expencive as most places are in Taormina, but the rooms are very small and sad, and its location is a bit off. My suggestion when it comes to finding a good place for reasonable money in Taormina, go for B&Bs, as they are probably half the price and twice as good.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. It is literally 5 minutes’ walk from the bus station.
The hotel is made out from several floors and has hidden balconies and areas to sit in. it has an amazing swimming pool that has a n even more amazing view of the sea and mountains.
We had a lovely big room with a balcony looking at the pool and sea, great sunset photos!
Breakfast was nice, but nothing special. The service was lovely from free Wi-Fi and, and tips on what and where to go. They even opened the breakfast room for us extra early on the day we went to mount Etna.
There is a back door from the hotel that leads to a walking path down to the beach about 10 minutes walk. Andon the way back you can take the cable cart which stops a few minutes walk away from the hotel.
The only thing that I can say “bad” about the hotel is the stiff climb on that curved road from the street to the hotel. Especially after a night out wearing high hills.

Lovely clean hotel, within easy walking distance to main attractions in Taormina, breakfast was of a good standard. Lovely views from breakfast room, pool area was spotless.
Only downside was poor parking

The hotel location was great, a very short walk to the cable cars & not much further to the town centre.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable.
The free buffet breakfast was really good, some great selections & very friendly service.
Many people complain about the steep walk from the hotel up the driveway to the street but it is over before you know it & you're in Taormina, it's beautiful, get over it!!
A beautiful stay in a beautiful place.

Hotel Sirius is located on top of the hill very close to the bus terminal and cabe car and a short walk to the centre of town. A good location. We had a triple room which was a reasonable size with a small courtyard. It was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size and very clean.
The hotel has a pool and beautiful views over the coastline. A short walk to the cable car to get down to the beach. The breakfast was very good with a wide range including scrambled eggs, fresh juice and very good coffee. The breakfast staff made you feel very welcome and were a pleasure to see each morning. Taomina itself is a beautiful town and well worth the visit. Late October and we could still swim in the ocean. temperatures were around 25 degrees. Plenty of shops and restaurants throughout the tiny cobbled streets with some magnificent views. Teatro Greco (Greek Amphitheater) is certainly worth a visit and half price if you are a EU citizen however you must have your passport to get the discount. All up a very good hotel albeit a bit pricey and a beautiful town to visit.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at this beautiful hotel. First of all, instead of arriving in the afternoon we got there at 9:15 due to flight problems. Carmello made sure we were able to have dinner even though the kitchen had closed. A much appreciated gesture (as well as the fact that he gave us a nicer room than we expected.) Our experience with all the staff was positive right down to the lovely ladies who kept our room spotless. Carmello, Fabriola and Pina were also extremely helpful advising us of the best way to spend our daily adventures. Parking is limited, but we never had a problem since the staff manages quickly to juggle vehicles when necessary. The hotel itself is spectacular…more like being in someone's home. It is filled with beautiful antiques, stocked bookshelves and spectacular views from all over. It is built in to the side of the mountain and the photos you see online don't lie..breathtaking. One of the best parts of our stay? Momma, (as I referred to the owner) is present most of the time and it is enjoyable to "speak" with her with a little help from the awesome reception employees. We enjoyed the beaches nearby and the availability to walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. Being close to the bus station was a plus as well. We would suggest spending a day and going to Siracusa because it is a beautiful city with lots to offer. Breakfast at the hotel was always delicious. A lovely buffet with anything you would need to fill yourself up before you begin your day. Unfortunately we never made it back to the hotel to enjoy another dinner there but they did have a wonderful menu. There are so many small places to try that we chose something different every day for variety. We hated to have to leave. We have travelled to Italy before, but this was our first time to Sicily and it was every bit as beautiful as we were told. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. From staff to building, gardens, view, location…it was a dream and we thank you all so much for some beyond belief memories.

Room Tip: Specify if you prefer a shower or bathtub…you will not get both. Be prepared if you have not travell...
