“Friendly guest house in Taormina!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

Great hospitality and sevice offered by Michele and his team!
Very good location being walking distance from the town centre with all the shops and restaurants, the cable car stop and the main bus stop.
Room was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities including a safe and the toilet and shower was new and clean.
The buffet breakfast was a feast every morning with a choice of delicious cooked breakfast and cappuchinos and lattes.
A big thank you to Michele, Meena and the rest of the staff at Isoco!
We highly recommend people to stay there if you are visiting Taormina!

Hi, we are french but we prefer writing in english so that everyone can understand how great this place is!! we completely fell in love with the place:
- just 2 minutes form the overcrowded center: so that you can enjoy the centro storico of Taormine, all the while having maximum serenity, calm and peace
- the view from the terraces, the outside beds are absolutely adorable, we spent some time during the night on these beds it was wonderful
- the rooms are very clean, and you feel very "at home"
- the breakfast is huge, and very good
- most important: the people :-) Michele and Meena are just the nicest people in Taormina! they were so kind and helpful to us. In addition to Italian, they speak english, french and german, which makes things lot easier.
all in all, THE best address in Taormina! we will come back, Michele, Meena we miss you already!

We stayed at Isoco Guesthouse for 4 night mid july and it was wonderful. The rooms were great, the balconies lovely and the breakfast perfect......I had the best omelet in all my life.
All the terraces around the house and on the rooftop give you the most astonishing views of the sea and the mountains. I can highly recommend it to anyone but mostly to people who really prefer to stay in a place with personality. The only negative thing I can mention, is that our shower was very very small, but instead we could just shower outside on the roof......and we did and we loved it:-).

Set among three levels of gorgeous gardens, Michele is a warm, welcoming and informative host and our room was gorgeous, with everything we needed including a view of the sea. Wonderful base from which to explore and Michele can arrange transfers for you to visit a private beach, which I highly recommend. We loved Isoco.

I stayed at Isoco Guest House for 6 nights and it was one of the most memorable and comfortable places I've stayed while travelling. The host of this place is a very warm and good-hearted man who only wishes to make the experience the best it can be for all of his guests. I loved the open-air beds (on two different levels), especially at night. It's very romantic to rest your busy-day body on one of these beds and gaze out over Taormina and the Italian coastline. In one word: Sublime. The beds in our room were also very comfortable and there is great air-conditioning as well. Breakfast in the morning was a true highlight - a beautiful open-air table, international guests to talk to and, of course, great food. It's a perfect start each day to get helpful ideas and to learn about off-the-beaten-track places and hidden gems to find in and around Taormina and Sicily. Your host is very knowledgeable and he's a bounty of information. Also, I really liked how the cook in the morning is able to skillfully fix your meal the way you want it - she can do it all and with creative flair! And the coffee is excellent! Isoco has a great number of strengths. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to unwind and relax and to savour the moment. Also, you must try the outdoor rainforest shower!

The guest house is nicely situated up the steps from a quiet street, not far from the Old Town.
A lush and nice garden, yard, beautiful terrace with sun beds, Jacuzzi outdoors...yes......
The rooms were a bit small, they were in a very artistic style decorated, all very unique. The furnitures were a bit dated and their material was just quite basic. These rooms would need some refurbishment after these years since the guest house exists. Some installation is quite provisoric in "italian style", also the bathroom is simple and not so luxurious as you would expect for the quite high price of the accomodation. Breakfast was quite simple and not very much, a little dish with one piece of bacon, one little piece of sausage and little pieces of cheese but loads of cereals and cakes..... The owner is a very friendly and culture person who loves to socialize and gives advices about all you wanna know, also the rest of the staff is very kind.

Room Tip: Consider Herb Ritts room is the only room with no sea view and therefor a bit dark.
