We stayed one week in Hotel del Corso in June 2014. The whole staff was friendly and helpful all the time. Our room was simple but tidy. The breakfast was deliciuos and the views.. absolutely amazing! The hotel located on the main street (Corso Umberto) so all the shops, cafés and restaurants were very close. I can absolutely recommend this hotel and I could defenitely visit there again.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, a selection of cereals, breads and pastries. Ask for an ocean view, they have balconies facing the ocean, hard to find in a tight mountain town like Taormina. The location is also perfect; inside the town gates and on the main drag but definitely not noisy. Also close enough to walk to the public parking garage (€14/day), but far enough that you don't realize the garage is that near.

This hotel was absolutely charming, with amazing vistas in every direction. Water views on way, impressive snow capped Mount Etna in the other. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was great and very comfortable. Close to everything with great variety of little shops and restaurants and of course gelato shops. Would definitely recommend anyone going to Sicily, make a stop in Taormina at this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights here. The first room we were given had a toilet that didnt work so they immediately upgraded us to a larger room with a functioning WC. This was all done within minutes and we were very impressed with the service of all staff.

Breakfast was included in our price and again, the food and service were excellent. Staff made sure that we had every request fulfilled.

The hotel is situated at the Porta di Messina or the northern end of the main Corso. It's near great restaurants as well as a small supermarket, post office and of course lots of shops. Views were spectacular as they will be in most places here.

I would happily recommend this hotel for short stays.

Room Tip: Our room on the top floor was larger than on the forst floor. Also, make sure you ask for water view...

This is a lovely hotel on the main street through Taormina, so it’s location is perfect. It’s about a fifteen minute walk from the bus station. It was immaculately clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice in a room with a terrace overlooking the sea and Mt Etna. What more could you want? The only minor drawback was our room faced the street and the Saturday night was very noisy until the early hours of the morning. If possible, request a room at the back – quieter and lovely views. Finally, if you are flying from Catania there is a direct bus from Taormina fairly regularly. The bus service across the whole of the island is excellent.

Room Tip: Our room at the front of the hotel was great for watching the world go by, but Saturday night was ve...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in March 2014 and had a lovely time! The hotel is in a great location right at the start of the Main Street in Taormina and has an absolutely breathtaking view of the amazing mount Etna from the breakfast terrace! Our room was nice with a view of the Main Street, the breakfast was also nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again!

This is a very nice hotel right on the main street in Taormina. The staff are really attentive. The rooms I suspect do vary. Ours was on the first floor overlooking the street. It was a good size, with balcony, but the aircon unit took up two thirds of the balcony space. Our bathroom was very small, the shower tiny. I am slight, and I could not bend down in it. However, book a room with a sea view - they seemed to have better sized balconies, and I expect, bigger bathrooms! I would also ask for a room higher up, so the views would be better. There are 3 floors. The breakfast terrace was amazing - views over Etna and the sea, and the hills behind us. It couldn't be faulted. And breakfast was always fresh. It was really worth every penny just for this, and it is not expensive.

Room Tip: Sea view, 3rd floor would be best.
