my husband and i have just enjoyed a 5+ week motorcycling trip through france/italy/ sicily/ switzerland. we stayed in 3 and 4 star hotels, none of these establishments came anywhere near the friendliness, service and overall memorable experience that we enjoyed here. the situation of the guest house is excellent, the breakfasts out of this world! rooms spacious, clean, and with views over the bay which are breathtaking. this family run business go to the greatest lengths to make their guests feel at 'home sweet home'- definitely to be recommended.
we originally intended to stay 1 night, stayed 2 and would have liked to stay at least another week if our itinerary had allowed!
very memorable stay......

We traveled Italy/Sicily for 4 weeks, staying almost entirely in B&B's and must say Sweet Home was by far the best. We stayed at a few four star and one five star hotel and Sweet Home did a better job than they did! On our arrival to Taormina we intended to stay only one night then stayed two, it was so nice that at the end of the trip we returned and booked another two relaxing days at Sweet Home. Thank you Sweet Home and the lovely family who runs it for making Taormina one of the highlights of our trip!

Rooms are clean, spacious, nicely decorated and the views from the private balcony are spectacular. The rooms overlook the sea and one can sit and relax while watching a soccer game in the field below or watch the cable car go by. Sweet home is located a short walk from the top of the cable car that takes you down to the beautiful beach. It is all very peaceful and relaxing with main shopping area also located just a short walk away. The owners provide free parking and in the 4 days were were there, never needed to use the car - everything one needs in nicely located a short walk away.

The family is wonderful and the daughter, Cynthia, speaks wonderful English should you need help with anything. They are all so very nice and helpful and really go out of there way to make sure all your need are met.

The breakfast is over the top and like another reviewer said, you won't be hungry again until supper time. Breakfast is served on a balcony as well and is truly the best we had the entire trip.

Thank you Sweet Home for proving us with everything we needed and more during our stay in Taormina!!

Have attached 3 photos; the first two show the beautiful view from the breakfast table, the third is a view from our room.

This is the first review I have ever written on tripadvisor as I have never previously been compelled to do so before this trip to Sweet Home B&B.

Let me give you a bit of background information: we (couple in late 20s) had had a terrible experience with AutoEuropa Car hire (avoid them at all costs!!), they had left us with a useless car with faulty battery, (faulty everything in fact), and the company were incredibly unhelpful after countless phonecalls, anyway, miraculously after jump starting the car for a third time that day (!?) we arrived in Taomina - without having booked a room. We had a quick look on TA, saw the reviews for Sweet Home, and thought it was worth a punt. And it was the best thing that ever happened.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. There was a room available and it was gorgeous and spacious with a fabulous view from the cute little balcony. There was a shower/toilet bathroom en suite, a couple of bottles of water (you wouldn't believe the number of expensive hotels we stayed in that didn't provide this), the room was very clean, very nicely decorated, and had good quality soaps, shampoos etc in the bathroom. When we told the B&B owners about our disaster experience with the car, they were very understanding and supportive, and kindly offered to ring the company and try to resolve things, which they did, and managed to help us get the car collected and fixed the next day.

On top of the delightful room, and tremendous kindness of the lovely family (mum, dad, and perfect english speaker daughter) who run the B&B. In the morning the breakfast was quite literally AMAZING, a banquet, we ate so much we weren't even hungry until dinner. We ended up staying two nights after eating this breakfast, let me give you some highlights: there was a selection of breads, homemade tomato and ham scones, plus croissants, and marble cake, and one morning homemade tarts, and the most delicious bruschetta I have ever tasted. Plus a plate of yummy cheeses and meats, sun dried tomatoes, plus mozarella with fresh basil and tomatoes, Plus freshly squeezed orange juice and on one morning freshly squeezed strawberry juice, plus coffee pannecota, (this was on top of all the normal breakfast stuff, ie boiled egg, cereal, toast, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, you name it!) But the pièce de résistance was the homemade granita - if you are offered some, grab the chance, it was so delicious, we opted for the homemade fragola(strawberry) flavour, and I can tell you in all honesty it was way better than 'Albertos' Granita on the Aeolina Islands (which we tasted earlier on in our trip and is reported to be the very best in Sicily, apparently even George Clooney stops off to get some when passing on his yacht). On top of all this, you are served breakfast on their roof terrace, with the most beautiful view of the town, mountains and seas.

The hosts clearly really care about their guests, and they make you feel that nothing is too much. They even lent us beach towels, and provide free parking, and cleaned the room, remade the bed, and provided fresh towels after the first night (not many places do this).

I cannot recommend this B&B enough - Thanks so much for an amazing stay and all your kindness!

We stayed for one night on a Motorbike Tour over Sicily.
Located next to the town centre, easy to find.
Wonderful sea panorama.
Good parking space for the motorbikes inside the court.
Nice and adorable friendly B&B.
Rooms are ok and clean.
Fantastic self cocked breakfast, never expected in Italy.
Highly recommended for the visits of Taormina, Isola Bella and Etna.

Sweet Home is an absolute delight. The owners are warm, convivial, and accommodating. Our room was huge, with a private balcony, comfortable bed, kitchenette, couch, and a nice sized bathroom. It was spacious for two people but with the couch, could easily accommodate a family of four. Our view could not be beat and the price is incredibly reasonable. We had the best breakfast complete with made to order eggs, fresh meats, cheeses, brioche, and fresh coffee. The room was immaculate when we arrived and really felt like home. The owners do not speak much English, but their daughter is fluent. Nevertheless, this is the place to stay in Taormina, they are wonderful people running a wonderful bed and breakfast.

I had to book a last-minute b&b for work and I couldn't find anything affordable in the center of Taormina, the I tried to book the first available b&b slightly outside the historical center and I was very skeptical bout it: once I got there I've completely changed my mind!
This B&B is run by a lovely family, Domenico vas very nice and helpful on the phone and we became friends afterwords. The mother come to my room with a very nice tray with a "welcome card", a nice a cool glass of Prosecco and little salty snacks! What a sweet woman she is!
The rooms are comfortable, classic, spacious and sparkles!
Domenico was working with the father in the expansion of the house to create more lovely rooms.
The most amazing surprise was the BREATHTAKING VIEW from my room and I will post some pictures.
I went back to Taormina and the family remembered me as an old friend and helped me a lot to find things for my job.
I highly recommend this place!

We stayed at Sweet Home for a week and cannot fault it. The rooms are beautiful, with balconies overlooking the coastline and mountains, with the football pitch below - fun to watch the training and a match! It is in easy reach of the town centre, bus station & cable car to the beach. Breakfasts are amazing with different Sicilian treats and more than you could possibly eat! Having such a breakfast, on the terrace with soft music just made a great start to the day. The owners are very helpful with advice about where to go and not to go, and provided timetables and even phoned ahead to the cable car company at Etna to check that it was running as it was a particularly windy day. Lovely place, lovely people, excellent value - would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a base at that end of Sicily.
