The menu is based on what's in season, so the offerings will vary depending on the time of year you visit. The bruschetta here was fantastic, toasted over fire, seasoned to perfection, then a drizzle of olive oil. The pici with wild boar sauce was great. The polenta with mushroom and truffle was so rich, I thought I might not be able to finish it...but did.
We completed our meal with an excellent panna cotta, dressed with currants and other berries, and a tiramisu. I would pass on the tiramisu since I prefer the "liquor soaked lady finger" recipes to the custard style Tempero serves. It's panna cotta for me at Tempero.
Our second meal here started with a pear soufflé and prosciutto & melon. We both had pici with ragu, then finished with their wonderful panna cotta. Mara presented us with a house-made lemon cream drink that puts limoncello to shame.
Mara, Olympia and Chef Alessandro provide a very enjoyable dining experience. Quality ingredients cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. I would rate our meals here slightly better overall than the #2 rated restaurant in town. They offer indoor and patio seating in a beautiful setting just off the main piazza, up a gentle slope.
Our meals, with wine, averaged less than €60 for a couple.
