We stayed for 5 nights. Debora managed and hosted our stay primarily and she is a kind and diligent host to say the least. She provided us amazing breakfasts and delicious cappuccinos, as well as warm friendship and conversation. Each evening we returned to find our room had been cleaned, and tidied up beautifully. We stayed in the Decanter room and it was spotless, and beautifully appointed. We slept very well thanks to how quiet it was, and the air conditioning works beautifully. We are from the Pacific NW so it doesn't take much warm weather to get us pining for some cool air. Debora's husband Arnaldo was also a warm, hospitable host. These folks work tirelessly and conscientiously to provide a wonderful, quality stay in Cortona and their restaurant (Taverna) is fantastic. We feel we have made new friends, and we intend to make Locanda Pane e Vino our home away from home again when we travel to Italy. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. We left some stones unturned in Cortona....more reasons to return. we highly recommend Locanda Pane e Vino.

Room Tip: The rooms near the outside terrace are located very well.

We recently stayed for 4 days in this amazing renovated and rebuilt place. Locanda Pane e vino is a perfect place for a holyday in Cortona. A wonderful B&B situated in a quiet street, situated just 1 minute to the center of Cortona. Debora, the owner, is very nice and make sure that we have enjoyed everything. The room on the first floor was great, with nice decorations, and books about wine, and the Tuscany. The room was clean and comfortable, and has a good size. There is free Internet access in all the B&B, including the rooms. Each day we parked close to the B&B.
The breakfast, served in the terrace, is excellent. Fantastic coffee, a superb crostata and good marmalades. Also, we recommend the Taverna Pane e Vino. Arnaldo, the husband of Deborah, was very friendly with us. He is an expert in Italian wines. He recommended an excellent Syrah from Cortona. The tartara di chianina and the pici alle molliche were excellent.
Overall, we loved the place, and will plan to return again.

Unforgettable experience.
truly good and honest people, clean, simple, attentive, wi-fi works perfect, close to the town, accommodating...JUST perfect and very economical.

We stayed there as suggested by AVIGNONESI owners of Wine yard near by and it was the best choice. If you are looking for a simple place with the service of a 5 start hotel this is the best place.

Room Tip: Any choice is JUST perfect

Locanda Pane e Vino B & B was a spotless and elegant haven when we finally found it. We'll get to that later. Debora is the kindest and most considerate owner I have ever known. She and Arnaldo have created a sophisticated home for us tourists. We had a two-story apartment. The bedroom upstairs had an incredible view of Cortona and even a hot tub. The downstairs consisted of a beautiful dining room-living room-kitchen combination, with every convenience, and so artistically decorated. Waiting for us was a basket of breads, cereal, and coffee. It was very difficult to find the B & B. After 3 telephone calls to her, Debora had to meet us at a piazza and lead us to the B & B. Then there are many steps up to our apartment, so if that is a problem for you, as for a lower room.

We stayed at Locanda Pane e Vino for three days in early May. Debora and Arnaldo did a wonderful job converting an old structure into a series of beautiful rooms. They used a combination of ultra modern and old stone and wood to create a unique look that made our stay incredible.
The breakfasts were wonderful as well as the other meals in the restaurant under the same ownership.
We were really made to feel like friends in a small town rather than just customers.

We've stayed in several hotels and B&B's in the region over the past few years and this has to be the best we've stayed in so far. Deborah who manages the B&B and her husband the restaurant in town are fantastic hosts from arrival to leaving they couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful if they had tried.

The B&B is close to the main shopping street literally 50 meters away but off of it enough to be a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

The rooms are fantastic modern and contemporary but with exposed stone and beams it stays in keeping with the region. The bathrooms are fantastic with huge waterfall showers. Most places we've ever stayed in just don't do good bathrooms.

The breakfasts are great with plenty of variety each day with fresh pastry's and cakes that will want you going back for more.

We'll be back here again whenever we stay in Cortona.

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely B&B, Debora was an excellent hostess that kept us well informed from our initial contact via email from Australia. Everything was as described.
Parking was a breeze in the street next to the B&B, only 20meters from the door.
The start of the main street leading into the central piazza was only 50 meters away.
The room and decor were all lovely, bella.!!
We would recommend to anyone staying in Cortona.
Debora and her husband Arnaldo also have a Taverna in the town centre that has fantastic food and a huge selection of wines, well worth a visit. (Taverna Pane e Vino)
