“Excellent customer service”

I can't say enough about Riccardo and Lavinia's help both before I arrived and once there. They were full for some of the nights I wanted and Riccardo gave me other B&B names in the area and offered to contact them for me. On arrival, a huge bicycle event complicated my getting to the B&B and Riccardo went out of his way to "find" me and did all he could to help me cross a blocked road. They are charming and professional and I loved the Yellow Room. The lovely, clean B&B is in an excellent, central location - yet it is quiet too. They made my stay there very enjoyable and I highly recommend Casa dei Tintori.

My friend and I shared the blue room for 3 nights in September. We were delighted to be in such a central location as we could walk to all of the sites we wanted to visit. The hosts, Riccardo and Lavinia, were most accommodating. The breakfasts provided a nice selection of foods. We were very comfortable, we felt safe, and we received excellent value for the cost.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the street of a major city will always be a little noisy. If this is a problem for you...

We stayed at Casa dei Tintori for 6 nights in September. We chose this B&B because of all the wonderful reviews and it lived upto all our expectations and more. We stayed in the yellow room
which was close to the breakfast area, it was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was modern with old world charm, with the best shower we have ever had in all our travels. Riccardo,
Lavinia and Valeria were exceptional hosts and treated us like family especially when we were introduced to Bella Camilla who is the happiest little bambina. Riccardo had arranged our tickets in advance for the Uffizi Gallery and also arranged a Chianti Classico tour of Tuscany
for us.He was very helpful providing us with maps and tourist information about Florence.
Our day started with a scrumptious breakfast, with the very best cappuccino and enjoyable chat
with Riccardo and Lavinia. Unfortunately the last night of our stay because of a medical problem it was necessary for us to return home. When we mentioned it to Riccardo he went above and beyond helping us make all the Airline arrangements on line and phoned to cancel
our next B&B in Venice. Where would we have been without his help?
If we return to Florence again we would definitely stay at Casa dei Tintori.

I am so glad we chose to stay at this hotel while we were in Florence. It was a good price, the location was perfect and central, the staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfy, and beautifully decorated. It was such a nice place to stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Florence.

My husband and I stayed at the Casa dei Tintori for five nights in early October. We are very familiar with Florence and we loved the location, so close to everything that you can walk everywhere. Riccardo and Lavinia are lovely hosts and very helpful, and adorable Camilla has to be the happiest baby I have ever seen when she just wakes up!
Booking is also very easy, Riccardo and Lavinia both speak English very well and we could see that they are very experienced with American guests and could anticipate their needs and desires. I would certainly recommend Casa dei Tintori to anyone who likes the intimacy and charm of a B & B, this one is a gem in a great location.

Room Tip: We stayed in the blue room which is lovely and a good value. It is directly adjacent to the breakfa...

We recently stayed at La Casa dei Tintori (September 2013) in Florence. We were two single ladies on our very first trip to Italy. Not only did this B&B offer us the perfect set up (two single beds) for a great price; Riccardo and Lavinia went up and above to give us extremely helpful information about the city and to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was perfect, even catering to one of our early tour days. Sometimes I am hesitant about staying at B&B's, but La Casa dei Tintori felt like a home away from home. Location was ideal for accessing the Uffizi and Academia (like a 5 min walk down the road.) And truthfully, even before we left for the trip Riccardo and Lavinia were helping us via email with booking tickets for the Uffizi and just informing us about what to expect when we arrive. Thank you for the hospitality!

La Casa dei Tintori was everything we expected and more. We stayed in the Red Room which was large, quiet and exceptionally clean. Our hosts, Ricardo and Lavinia are knowledgable, friendly and hospitable. The location is perfect and getting around was very easy. We had no trouble finding our way around despite being our first visit to Florence. A nice breakfast with a beautiful selection and the cappuccino was the best we had in Florence!
