“Little Italian gem”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we were so pleased with it that we went there 4 of our 7 nights. The Italian food was much better than that in the tourist type restaurants in the piazza's. Located on Viale Don Minzoni on the North side of Piazza della Liberta

“Italian Vacation”
Reviewed 15 December 2013

We loved this ristorante which was recommended by our hotel which was within walking distance. The food was excellent, it was Sunday evening so we were unsure if we could even find a ristorante. We loved our food and the woman who waited on us was very pleasant and accommodating.

“Food worth the wait”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

A local unshowy restaurant serving properly made delicious food. Family owned and everything made to order. fried artichokes were amazing light batter on young globe artichokes.
Great wine list with really unusual regional wines. Staff friendly and helpful but it is not fast food!

“Where is the service!?”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

We stopped here at the suggestion of our hotel. We hoped to get some Pizza as the menu said it was served on Friday, however they weren't serving it then. We noticed the following:

1) SLOW service. It took 15 minutes to get a liter of water and another 20 minutes to get more after we asked for another bottle.

2) If you're a regular, you get your food MUCH faster. We were there for at least 30-45 minutes before others arrived who were clearly known and they got their food before us.

3) If you plan to get your check fast, forget it!

The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but the service made it all the worse.

“A great little Trattoria”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

We were staying at a nearby B&B and had both an evening meal and lunch here. It was always busy and the served good quality Italian food. The pizzas cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, the pasta fresh and the flavours traditional Tuscan. Prices reasonable for Florence and the service was good. Definitely recommend.
