I made reservation as soon as I arrived in Florence and we were glad we did consodering the line up outside the restaurant when we left. It was so good we went back again for the second time.
The first evening, we ordered the antipasto platter, soup and a one kilo Bifteck Florentine. The warm chicken liver crostini was excellent. The soup, very tasty and hearty, came in 3 bowls which we could not have finished. Then, the steak which we shared arrived. It was incredibly thick. The meat was juicy, tender, just medium rare and tasty.
A dish of biscotti and a glass sweet wine were served after dinner, compliment from the house.
The total price came to 80€ with 2 glasses of wine included.
On the second evening, we ordered pork chop and rib eye. Both were surprisingly tender, considering the thickness of the meat. We skipped ordering the soup this time. We sat outside around the interior courtyard. What an excellent way to enjoy our last evening in Florence.
The restaurant looks relatively small outside but it has many medium size rooms and the area around the courtyard.
I may also add the service is efficiently fast considering the number of guests in the restaurant.
