We ate here four times during our stay in Florence. This is the perfect antidote to all the insipid high priced tourist fodder at a lot of other places.
Book in advance - we didn't and always got a table after a short wait, but every evening people were queuing up waiting for tables.
Food was simple, cheap and tasty. Everything homemade and authentic. Locals outnumbered the tourists which is always a good sign.
Meatballs in tomato sauce with mashed potato were to die for - I will be returning to Florence just to eat these agin! Verge table soup excellent and the desserts were also of high quality.
