I went there after walk through around five restaurants that were already closed. I did not imagine things closed so early in Firenze. Trattoria Diladdarno, although, was still open and received me well. It was like an last ption, but I did not regret. A nice bisteca, I recommend.

This is a really italian restaurant. Not the tourist crap you see on the main street! The food as that "mamna" touch that we all love, the products are high quallity, and service is friendly and honest! Prices are honest also (risotto 9?,service included). Me and my wife loved it

The owners were so kind--they offered us amazing grappa and dessert. He also made good recommendations on what kind of steak to order! Everything was homemade and all the ingredients were so fresh. Highly recommend this place.

Had the duck tagliatele and the pork ravioli. They were pretty well done. The choc and pear tart with grappa icecream was great.

This trattoria is only a few blocks from the Palazzo Pitti, but is far enough from the main streets to be out of the bustle. It's easy to miss: the doors aren't plaster with recommedations and credit card logos and no one comes out to hustle you as you study the menu. When you go inside the first thing that strikes you is the genuine friendliness of the staff. They speak little English but easily enough to help you through a menu that is distinctively Tuscan but also orginal. The bread is even better than the normal Italian bread, and is baked on the premisses. We had ravioli, chick pea salad, pumpkin soup, and roast vegetables for lunch, and will be going back soon for dinner. Highly recommended.
