What an amazing experience, from first to last minute! We stayed in a very nice room with a lovely private terrace. Our friends stayed in a suite for 3 guests, and we all agreed; this is a true gem in Firenze. The location is perfect - walking distance to almost everything, yet so quiet and peaceful.
Good size bathroom, great beds, super friendly staff! Will definitely stay here next time in Florence!

From the superior service from Leny to the elegance and cleanliness of the room, this is an amazing place to stay! Just a block or two from Academia and very convenient bus routes to the main sites and train station. Property is gorgeous and these rooms are on the top floor and have wonderful views. You can see the duomo from the breakfast room as well as from our room. Leny was amazing - anticipated our every need, helped with terrific restaurant recommendations and reservations. Breakfast was served with warm pastries as well as yogurt, cereal, juices, fruits, etc. There are two lifts including a glass lift to take you the final floor. The location is in a quiet area with a botanical garden across the street. This is a hidden gem in a busy, tourist filled city! We highly recommend it!

We loved this hotel.
Central location in a historic building with amazing views of the city.
In spite of the ancient building, the design is modern and rooms are very spacious and clean.
Breakfast overlooking Florence was excellent and prices are fair.
As there is no receptionist 24/7, if you arrive or leave late in the afternoon you need to let them know in advance to arrange collection/deposit of the keys.
We definitely recommend it.

fantastic building to stay in,wow is what we thought when we arrived!amazing view from the breakfast room over Florence .very central for all of the museums and sights,5 mins to duoamo,5 mins in a cab to the station SNM.we stayed in the suite which was very spacious, lovely large bed quite firm, two cute wardrobes ,his and hers so plenty of hanging space, nice seating area with mini bar(reasonably priced)fantastic shower over the bath, wipes, makeup removers, cotton buds, shampoo and shower gels supplied.grace was very sweet and helpful for booking cabs and letting us leave our luggage after we booked out.the lifts were an experience but added to the character, you also get keys to the palace gardens which were so peaceful, would recommend.

Room Tip: only 5 rooms so very peaceful, there is one with a terrace which would be lovely, suite was great
