It was a perfect location for Florence.
Mario was extremely knowledable and goes out of his way to be helpful.
His use of English is excellent which helped us first timers.
We found the bed comfortable and the breakfast set us on our way each morning.
Free wi fi
Taxi stand just across from piazza
Train just a few blocks but don't try to walk with cases too many people!
Can be noisy if you are early nighters but if dining late as the Italians do... not a problem.
Most Piazza noise ends at 12am.

Room Tip: Double glazed room may be more useful. Perhaps not facing the Piazza. However noise not a huge problem.

We visited Florence together with our two children. The location of this B&B is ideal as it is in the centre of the city. If the kids were tired, we would pop back to our room for a bit of a rest. Evenings were wonderful since street perdormers in the Piazza are awesome and there is always something going on everyday. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very comfortable. What was lovely was that at any time we were able to go into the breakfast room for a quick espresso and look out of its window overlooking the square. Mario, the owner, is always really caring and helpful. I would recommend this place anytime and would gladly revisit it myself once more!

Room Tip: We stayed in a quadrule room - Number 5 and it was great.

Great deal in the heart of Florence. Truly. Best location you could imagine on a wonderful piazza in the middle of everything. Small little B&B on the third floor of the building. Quiet and cozy.

Location doesn't get any better. Right on Piazza Repubblica and within walking distance of everything. The B&B has an elevator which came in handy when we arrived with luggage. Mario, the owner, was wonderful. He's warm, welcoming and very helpful. There were three of us (3 generations) traveling together. We had a room with a queen sized bed and then there was a loft with a twin bed. French doors opened onto a small balcony that had a little table and two chairs. The room was very clean and comfortable. Felt big with the high ceiling. The breakfast room had a big window that looked out at the piazza. In the morning you could get bread, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice. The coffee and tea were available 24 hours. There was also a water cooler. I highly recommend B&B Repubblica and when I go back to Florence I know where I will be staying.

The gentleman looking over the hotel, and I guess he's the owner was a very nice and helpful one. very friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent, we didn't worry about the trip getting back to the hotel since it was in the middle of the piazza. We had access to the coffee and tea lounge all the time, where there was a great water cooler that tasted like it came from heaven. Internet access in the entrance using a computer that's installed on the desk. may had internet access in the room but very weak.
