“Brew pub serving their own brews.”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

This is a small brew pub that brews their own beers 20 miles away. It has cool decorations of light brown placemats the patrons drew on and an elephant theme. Staff was cool. Don't let my average (I grade tough) put you off. They had 4 different beers on tap and each was very good. Enough variety so each person had something to suit their tastes from my wife's "which is the closest to bud light?" to my double bock. We didn't eat but the saw the burgers and fries coming out an they looked fantastic. The people who got them raved. Also the mandatory brick oven pizza oven was cracking out great looking pizzas.
Definitely worth the visit if you're tired of wines and looking for some good local brews.

“Great microbrew beer in a country known for wine”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

We stumbled upon this great local microbrew hangout while on a business trip in Florence. Lots of 18-30 year old locals (we were a bit older but didn't feel out of place). Nice and varied selection of their own beer. The menu had lots of food to choose from including appetizers, pizza, burgers and options for vegetarians. Great service.

“Great alternative-like pub.”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

A great little pub/micro-brewery that greeted us with early Radiohead and actual pints of beer. Reminded us of The Tote in Melbourne except with a cold meat and cheese platter to die for. Pizza was delicious and the calzone was awesome. We're the types to wander around in band t-shirts (swans, future of the left, neubauten, decemberists) and we felt right at home. The pils is a dead ringer for Little Creatures...ie delicious. A little cultural outreach for the left of centre traveller and a perfectly welcoming place for all.

“Awesome pizza and beer!”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

Great little place off the side street, but hopping full of people. They brew their own beer in house and it was delicious. I especially loved their stout, even in summer! Their pizzas are also delicious, filling, inventive in their ingredients, and not too expensive! Two pints and two pizzas ran us less then €30, and left us happy and satisfied. Really great place!

“Craft Beer in the centre of Florence”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

Had a great evening here, This small brew pub has about 8 beers they brew with about 5 always available on tap. The beers tasted great.
Have some good value snacks to go with the beers, good serves at good prices.
Get there for Happy Hour when all beers are half price...great value.
