Very nice and spacious room, very clean and comefortably furnished; TV/music equipment a bit tricky and not too easy to operate for someone not being fan of IT... Excellent food in a great terrace restaurant, friendly and helpful service. Good value for money compared to similar places in or around Florence.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the City

Quite a grand elegant place, beautiful gardens and top notch service in my opinion. We got to stay in the rooms that were converted in the old stables and they were spacious and with a lot of character
Breakfast was lovely, best croissants in Italy and that's saying a lot!
Got good recommendations for dinners to some of the local hidden gems from the concierge
Highly recommended

Dear Darshni K,

Thank you for a great review of your stay with us and I am happy to hear you have enjoyed our "style of service" which is informal, yet elegant. It is also great to hear you enjoyed some of the recommendations of the staff for dinner as we strive to offer a unique experience, not just at the Hotel, but also In Florence and Fiesole, recommending restaurants and activities off the beaten track.

We look forward to having you stay with us again on your next visit to Florence.

Best regards,

This was an enjoyable few days. Swimming pool area is most definitely too far from the main hotel although does offer some difference.

Rooms spacious and clean. TV/integrated media centre was confusing and problematic. it would be turned off and the sound would intermittently come on. Most neat and innovative nonetheless

The breakfast experience was frustrating and was poor with extremely incompetent and slow service

Dear Kieran P,

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and I have discussed your various points with maintenance and the restaurant manager to avoid this from happening in the future.

Our pool is a 3 minute walk from the main Villa, or our service ambassadors can escort the guest by golf cart, but is does offer, as you mention, a different experience, overlooking the Tuscan countryside yet only 15 minutes from the center of Florence.

We hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again at Il Salviatino on your next visit to Florence.

Best regards,

First let me say that I have stayed as Il Salviatino at least 5 other times in the past few years and always found it to be a very nice hotel with great service. My recent trip seemed like the staff is very new and the hotel did not impress me. The rooms are in need of updating and the usual nice greeting with a glass of Prosecco and a relaxing check in was gone. I still think this hotel can become one of the hidden gems in the Florence area. I hope it happens. By the way, the restaurant continues to provide great food. Both dinner and breakfast were great.

Dear Bob V,

Thank you for your review of your stay with us and I am sorry to hear it was not as good as you past experiences with us. Every guest receives a glass of Prosecco upon arrival as a welcome and in your case this was not offered and this was an oversight. You were upgraded to one of our Dome view rooms, which was smaller than your usual room , and we have taken note of your room preference for future stays. I am glad to hear you did enjoy the restaurant experience, both at breakfast and at dinner.

I look forward to seeing you again at il Salviatino.

Best regards,

Bart Spoorenberg

Our stay at the Salviatino was amazing. The hotel itself and the rooms are tastefully renovated, the venue is unique and the service is flawless. A true five star experience!

A special thanks to Lino who was our service ambassador and made us feel like royalty!

I came back to Salviatino, after more than 2 years and I found it better than ever.
The park is now fully grown and the italian garden is magnificent.
The service was excellent and I was pleased to see some of the employes I remembered from my first visit.
The breakfast was fantastic.
I had dinner, which was up to my expectations and we than had some nice drinks at the bar.
We took advantage of the very fast shuttle to the center of town.
As soon as I come to Florence I will come back to Il Salviatino.
