The 4 young people at the front desk (Angela, Yanni, Marco and Elisa) made our stay a joy. They helped us with restaurant reservations, airport pickup and a day-trip to Pisa. They were all always pleasant, always with a nice, warm smile. They also helped us change our room without hassle when it emerged that the our first room had a window between the bathroom and the bedroom, which we didn't much care for.
Breakfast buffet was not huge but very sufficient. The staff there were also extremely helpful. One morning as we were leaving after breakfast, the nice lady in charge there offered us an aperitif to get the day going on a happy note.
There was a mac in the lobby available for guests' use free of charge along with a printer and these were mostly available.
The location of the hotel is fantastic - a stone's throw from most of the major sites, a mere 5 minutes from the Duomo.
The only negative was that the spa was closed for maintenance for a few days.
