Helene and Giancarlo provided one of the highlights of my trip to Florence--fantastic meal made of fresh produce from their garden, new wine, a chicken dish to die for, and all the warm hospitality anyone could want. It's a must stop.

Val di Botte will fulfill all your tuscan dreams. You'll need someone to fuss over you and pamper you. You'll find that with Helene and Giancarlo. What are you waiting for? Book your trip already! You won't find a more genuine Tuscan experience. Must put yourself in the hands of Helene and Giancarlo and do what they say to do. And be sure and say hello to Neo and Lampo. First class, all the way!

My family and I stayed here for just one night but we had the most relaxing 24 hours of our lives! Margherita (Helene and Giancarlo's daughter) really looked after us, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and good quality and the food was spot on! We look forward to returning before too long!

I've stayed with Helene and Giancarlo a couple of times already and I absolutely adore this place! Everything here is just perfect: the hosts, the rooms, the house, the surroundings, the food (seriously the best Italian food I have ever tasted) and of course Florence. Try it out and I guarantee you'll love it!

We have just returned from a three night stay with Helene and Giancarlo in their faboulous farmhouse. They are just outside the town of Scandicci, which is almost a suburb of Florence. Beautiful guest rooms, with adjoining sitting room and dining room on the second floor, with fabulous views of the Tuscan hills. Lovely gardens with fruit trees, vines, lots of seating scattered around and a lovely little pool, set amongst the trees, with views of the scenery. Lovely home cooking, with local wines. We also enjoyed their dogs, horses, and and the peace and quiet. They were friendly and welcoming and we look forward to visiting them again in the future. If you are looking for a genuine experience of Tuscany, then this is the place for you.
