A great restaurant in Florence, it came recommended by our Concierge and we weren't disappointed!! In fact we dined there 2 nights in a row as we wanted to try more on the menu!! The regional speciality of Fiorentine Steak comes highly recommended. It feed 3 of us with a side of potato mash (so smooth!) and green vegetables. The meat was cooked on the bone to perfection by the Chef, and was a stand out meal for us in Florence. Our son devoured the pasta della Nonna (a meat sauce) both nights and wished he could bring Nonna back home to Australia to cook this as a weekly dish!! The meat sauce was cooked beautifully, Italians do family recipes so well!! The staff were all very friendly and the service was excellent and attentive. We bought a small bottle of the house made Limoncello back to Australia, as well as the pepper grinder (looks like a red wine bottle, a novelty and a nice reminder of 2 lovely meals in Florence). A very good wine list too. Make sure you get to Pandemonio!!

Great restaurant. A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend the small pasta plates and the steak florentine! All courses for 2 people inc bottle of wine around 120 euro. Not bad!

My daughter and I were lucky enough to be staying right on the Via del Leone during our visit to Florence. In the 2 weeks we were visiting from the US, we ate our way across and around the city, but fell in love with the Trattoria Pandemonio, returning for dinner repeatedly. The food was absolutely incredible -- nothing compared. And this from two women who fancy themselves accomplished chefs! Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a truly outstanding culinary experience.

We were recommended this place by a friend who lives in Florence, and were so happy we decided to dine here.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the amazing staff. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a mix of Italians and expats living in Florence, which was wonderful since we don't typically like overly-touristy spots. It felt as if we were attending a private party full of good vibes and chatty guests.

Our server was the sweetest woman who offered suggestions on a few pasta dishes to try before our main course of Florentine steak. The scampi risotto was out of this world.

As for the steak, our charming server proudly brought out the meat to show us the quality before it was cooked, and it didn't disappoint.

I don't think I've ever ate a more delicious steak, which is saying a lot since I've eaten at some very well-known steakhouses around the world.

After dinner the staff brought over a complimentary lemon liqueur and offered us dessert, however we were so full we had to sadly decline (saving it for another time!)

All in all, I would happily recommend this place to anyone, whether you live in Florence or are just passing through. Can't wait to return.
