This is my second visit to this restaurant in the past few years. I remembered enjoying my first meal here in 2012 so when my husband suggested it I agreed we should go. We decided to try the Florentine steak with some traditional appetisers, I had crostini (yummy!) and he had a salami plate. We very much enjoyed our meals and the steak was quite the spectacle! The wait staff brought it to our table and cut it in front of us and gave us a heated stone to keep it on. I did find a few parts of the steak a bit tougher than others, which is why they got a 4 instead of a 5. Overall it was very good. The house red was light and went very well with the meal. The prices were also very good compared to other restaurants in the area. We had a steak large enough for 4 people to share and the total was still not more than we pay in other towns in Italy.
My first meal here in October 2012 was also delicious, my mother and I had baked Orata, my favourite fish, and a dessert that was fantastic. Both times some locals came in and sang a song on accordion and guitar and were quite entertaining. Strongly recommend this place, especially if you want to experience real Italian food with real Italian staff and owners who make you feel at home. Arrive early (they open at 7pm) or book in advance, by 8pm the place was full!
