“super hotel in great location”
Reviewed 29 November 2011

Just returned from a short trip to Florence and felt I had to recommend this fantastic little hotel. Great location, right next to a beautiful piazza. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was great, wonderful shower. The staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to keep our room for a few extra hours. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back!

This hotel is our 2nd best hotel we stayed in Italy for 2 weeks. It has a very cool funky theme and if you are a Watch collector or lovers, This Hotel is perfect for you. It consist from Rolex, Omega, Panerai items or books.

The Room we have is superior with view, and our room is on level 2 with view of Santa maria nuovollo.
The service is excellent and the Breakfast buffet is very good and included in the price as well.

The hotel location is very good not very far from the Medici Chapel, Duomo and the main shopping area.

If I come to Florence and want to stay in the cbd of florence, this is the place we'll stay again.

Everything about this hotel is very well done except for the front desk staff. The rooms are immaculate - the beds comfortable and clean. The amenities in the room are all renovated and new. The breakfast was nice. The location was very close to everything and close to the train station. Do not eat at their recommended restaurants. We tried two and were disappointed because they were tourist restaurants.

We love this hotel and enjoyed the room. Staying in a watch themed hotel is pretty unique and added to our experience in Florence. The breakfast buffet that was included was quite delicious although you do get sick of it after the first 2 days. Overall, very luxurious and well kept. Great stay!

Overall we really enjoyed our three night stay here. We booked a junior suite with a view and I think we must have been given the best room in the hotel. It was a two story room with the bathroom and living area downstairs and the bedroom and terrace upstairs. We had fantastic views! The terrace had a small table and two chairs and was pretty large. The bedroom area was really nice. The bed faced windows, which we kept open, and we could see the duomo as we laid in bed. It was wonderful!

The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was very nice. They had a lot of different foods in the buffet and it was a great way for us to start each day.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It's walking distance to anywhere you want to go and it was perfect for us. It's also very close to a lot of the shopping, which was fun!

The only two things that we were disappointed with were the leaking bath tub and the poor wifi signal. We took showers the first night we got there and after we were both done, the entire bathroom was covered in a half inch of water and it was running into the living area. We called down to let them know and they said they could only bring 8 towels. Well, when the lady came up, she saw how bad the flooding was and went to get more towels and more help. Their fix for the night was just to leave the towels around the tub, and they didn't really fix it until the next day (and it still wasn't completely fixed....it leaked, but we took quick showers and luckily the leaking wasn't anywhere near as bad). The only reason we didn't request to change rooms is because we were pretty sure we had the best room - we definitely had the best view! The only other downside was the wifi. It didn't work at all in our room, so we had to wander around the hall to find a spot to look things up. Also, we were only allowed to have one device connected at a time, which was a little annoying, but not a huge deal.

We did enjoy our stay and will definitely consider staying here next time we are in Florence. The location really can't be beat and despite our two "complaints," the hotel was very nice.

This was by far the best hotel we've stayed in our trip to Tuscany and Rome. The location is great, very central an at the same time off the crowds. It's at Piazza Santa Maria Novella and about 5min walk to the Duomo.
The installations are new, modern and beautifully decorated.
The rooms are great, super clean and the bathroom is modern, in marble and also very spacious.

Breakfast is great and you have a beautiful view of the Chiesa Santa Maria Novella from the breakfast room, it's a great way to start the day.
Another good thing about the hotel is that you don't get the feeling of staying in a super huge hotel with an endless corridor with lots of apartments, which makes it very cozy too.

We've had some drinks at night at the hotel bar and the Cosmopolitan was the best I've ever had, we came back the other night for another Cosmo and again just perfect as the ones of the previous night. (both bartenders - a gentleman and a lady) really knows how to make great drinks. (The Martini was also perfect).
Highly Recommended, definitely will stay there again when back to Firenze.
