Unfortunately we somehow lost something in the translation. This is a tour on a coach with 60 people and we thought it was in a minivan with 8. The good part was we saw an amazing amount of the Tuscan countryside in one day that would have been difficult to do on our own. The "tour" in Sienna was a joke, very little information given and they missed the highlight - The Duomo. This was our third tour of the Tuscan country and it was our worst. Only brief information was given on the bus before we reached each town and the guide was not helpful or friendly. When you drop 60 people in a tiny hill town you should tell them what to go see, where it is and tell them where to get a quick bite and use a restroom. The tastings were just that, literally one swig of wine, standing up squished in a room meant for 10 not 30. The cheese tasting was three toothpick size silvers of pecorino layer out on a kleenex. We went down the street on our own to a very nice Enoteca ( wine store) had a lovely tasting of 6 Brunello wines with lots of information and promptly bought a case and shipped it home. I felt bad for the business owners we visited, because it was so crowded and hectic very little of their product was purchased. Definitely not what you would think of as a wine tour. I thought the guide would actually walk us through each town and give us background information on what we were seeing. With a little effort on their part this could actually be a very good tour.
