This is an ideal place to stay if you are arriving by car as we did. Just outside the old city but easy walking distance and really peaceful and quiet. In fact it is much nicer being south of the river and we felt like we got more of a taste of the locals Florence than being stuck in the middle of the tourist area.
We were given so many tips and advice that we didn't need our guidebook any more, and it was all great advice - thanks so much for that! We felt like we got extra special treatment as we were on our honeymoon, so that was lovely too!
The breakfast was delicious, and it felt nice to share that with the other few visitors that were there. Nice lounge area to relax in and access to the kettle to make tea any time - which is a big plus for me in a hotel!
Our room felt a little dark which was a shame as its supposed to be the best one! But it had a lovely bed and felt private.
Overall a lovely place to stay.
