It took us some time to find out the exactly location of it, and we were so lucky to come across with a kindly couple, they showed up at the perfect time and pointed out the currect direction.

Although situated a few kilometres out of Florence, there was a regular shuttle bus into the city and return regularly during the day. Please be noted that the shuttle service needs reservation up in front, but the vehicle is very nice and the crew have been very friendly and helpful.

Regarding the hotel itself, it's a very well designed and converted mill, you will agree on this if you have seen the pictures listed on its offical website.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in September. On booking I had asked for a room with a river view and was not disappointed. The room was spacious, well appointed and with a superb view over the river. Large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant at the Hotel on both nights simply because the food is so good. Breakfasts are also superb! The hotel runs a courtesy coach in to Florence City Centre which has regular pick-up times throughout the day. There is also ample parking for cars at the Hotel's underground garage.

Room Tip: Ask for river view room- 106 is beautiful with Tuscan ceilings and Italian antique furniture!

We recently took a two week trip to Barcelona, Venice, Florence, Rome and London. Hotel Mulino was absolutely our favorite of the hotels that we enjoyed while in Europe. The room was beautiful. We were in a superior river view room with an incredible view of the Arno. We had both lunch and dinner at the hotel. Both meals were excellent. The service was also outstanding. We particularly loved taking advantage of the bicycles that the hotel has for rent. The hotel is located a short distance from a wonderful trail that extends into Florence.

We will be back!!!

Stayed here two nights October 1st and 2nd. Clean, fresh, spacious, peaceful, and the ambience of the surroundings make this a must consideration of all visiting Florence. Location is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the center of Florence or the main train terminal. Location is away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. Peaceful river and waterfall are adjacent to the property. Service is excellent. Staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are large with high ceilings and give you the Italian Villa experience feeling. The restaurant is superb! Try the Veal with mozzarello cheese on top entree. One of the best meals I have ever had. It was so good I had it the next day as well.

Situated on the side of the river Arno, this converted mill is a little gem. Complete with working water wheel in the swimming pool, it provides visitors to Florence a quiet haven away from the tourist heaving city centre.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel is. Lots of space in the multiple sitting areas inside and the courtyard.
Very tastefully done with antiques, art and mill pieces.
Awesome breakfast.
I highly suggest Ristorante Bettolina within 5 minute walking distance toward tow on Via Di Villamagna, 31/r. Unbelievable food and service, locals only, very reasonable and not a tourist trap.

Room Tip: I would suggest a better room upstairs with a view vs a room in courtyard

We went there for 4 days to spend some time Florence. First off, when we checked in they upgraded my room for free! I was so excited, the room was airy and bright, had high ceilings, the bathroom was huge! The view was great too. We really liked the area as well, it was away from the hustle and bustle of the city but we could take the free shuttle into the city as well from the hotel so it was the best of both worlds.
