After reading reviews on TA we decided to stay here and we were not disappointed. Upon our arrival, before we could even start up the steps, a young man (Paolo) appeared and carried our very heavy pieces of luggage up to the check-in desk. The same kindness continued throughout our stay. The young lady (Francesca) behind the desk was so sweet (and before we even told her our names) she said that she had a message for us from my husband's aunt (who lives in Florence), and offered us the use of the phone at the desk.
The hotel itself was beautiful and had a great history. The room was nice and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. The area where we had breakfast had a small balcony that we walked out onto and it gave a great view of the street in both directions. It was great to watch the traffic and the people passing by. Another huge plus is that the hotel is located in a perfect area. You can walk to almost everything.
The hotel doesn't have a lot of rooms so book ahead if you are even considering staying here.
We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.More
