After reading so many good reviews, my husband and I made sure to visit and it lived up to them! Even though they were busy, the staff were very kind and also offered us samples of the different biscotti flavours to try while we were waiting in line.
We tried two kinds of biscotti as well as some cookies for lunch. Though there's nowhere really to sit and eat directly at the bakery, we found a nice spot at the nearby courtyard next to the Medici Chapel to relax and enjoy them. The biscotti was the best we've ever had.
We also bought a few bags of biscotti to take home to share with family and friends. They wrap their take-away bags quite nicely and the prices are good, so they made great souvenirs. We were a bit worried about how fresh they would be by the time we got home a week later, but they were still excellent and our family, friends and coworkers raved about the quality - all saying it was the best biscotti they've ever had as well!
The bakery is a short walk from the Duomo and train station. We also came across an outdoor market on the way that had a lot of nice clothing items.
Our only regret is that we didn't buy more biscotti to bring home. We definitely recommend going!
