Hotel Lungarno is an absolutely flawless property situated along the Arno with a view of the Ponte Vecchio. The location is outstanding and is right down the street from the Uffizi and some main shopping areas. The rooms are modern, very sleek and extremely comfortable and a good size for Europe. We were fortunate enough to have two adjoining river facing suites (our three kids traveled with my wife and I) but were unfortunate enough to only stay a single night (we were heading down to Rome the next day). The rooms are gorgeous and the hotel staff was very attentive without being cloying. Rafael, in particular, was extremely helpful to our family from making a dinner reservation, to handling a housekeeping request himself and even getting me traveling in the right direction when we left by rental car the next morning for a stop in Pisa on our way to Rome (he even entertained my family and rescheduled our Pisa tour after I got lost and delayed returning to the hotel with my rental car). I highly recommend this hotel.
