The Bargello Museum is full of beautiful sculptures including some early works by Michelangelo and Donatello's David as well as extensive collections of ceramics and jewellery. The building itself is a 13th century palazzo, former Medici court and prison and is very interesting in its own right. One of the best features of the Bargello is that it is smaller in scale and doesn't attract the hordes that visit the Uffizi or Accademia so the experience is more relaxed. The opening hours are a bit irregular so check before you visit.
