We stayed in Sweet Florence for two nights after we extended our stay in Florence at the last minute.
It was easy to check in, the owners/hosts were welcoming and explained everything really well.
The bed was comfortable and as mentioned in previous reviews the shared bathroom was clean and only shared with one other room. We paid 64 Euro per night (including city tax) and this included breakfast (pastry and a coffee - typical Italian size) at a local bar (100m) down the road.
The B and B is about a ten - fifteen minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Nouvella Train Station and about a 25-30 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. To be honest if you want to pay less than 70EURO per night you should probably stay here as Florence is very expensive and there are much worse hotels that will cost you a lot more to stay in closer to town.
Be warned though, the road can be quite noisy, so if you are light sleeper ask for a room within the property - we stayed in the Michelangelo room and it was on the corner facing the main road. We didn't mind as we are quite heavy sleepers, but I am sure a light sleeper would not have enjoyed it.
Thanks Sweet Florence, we enjoyed our stay.
