The hotel is very good and roomy compared to what other comparable Florence hotels may offer.

Breakfast is slightly expensive if not included in the room rate, otherwise, everything the hotel has to offer has exceptional value given its location.

Amenities were very good although the working space is quite limited.

This hotel has exceeded all expectations! The rooms are extremely large for Europe and the location could not be better. The staff has been very helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet is also a good option and even has soy milk!

I just returned from two weeks traveling in Italy. It's a cliche to say this but Florence is magical. And what added to the magic of Florence was this amazing hotel with an amazing staff. As other reviews note, the location cannot be beat and it is beautiful throughout - rooms, lobby, etc. Our room, a corner room on the 5th floor was without question one of the nicest rooms in any hotel I have stayed in. The light in Italy in November is amazing and this room, with multiple doors and windows opening onto the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno allowed us to take in and absorb Florence and the beauty of this city. The roof-top deck allows you to watch the entire panorama of the city at sunset with a dynamite glass of wine in your hand. It was a fantastic experience. But what also really stood out for me was how gracious and helpful the staff were - from helping us get to and from the train station, to recommending amazing restaurants (ones I did not find on my own), they were truly caring people - they went out of their way multiple times to assist us - even going so far as helping us arrange our rental car when leaving the hotel for our trip through Chianti. I do not understand honestly the negative reviews I have read about this hotel - to each their own - but to me, and I am a picky S*B, this hotel had everything one could ask for - great location, beautiful appointments, great staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the higher floors and if possible a corner room. Go off season. Nothing beat Ita...

This hotel is located just on the corner of Ponte Vecchio, so location can not be better. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Nice terrace on the rooftop.
Only minus point (our experience) : when we turned back to the hotel after dinner at 11.30 pm, it was not more possible to take a drink at the rooftop terrace. Even there were still 6 other people and it was even showed that the terrace stayed open till midnight!! So a litlebit disappointed on the last night of our stay in this beautiful city.

Check in was slow and painful. Where is the hotel/service vibe? Furniture felt like it was from Ikea. There was barely enough room to get around the bed. The hotel common areas looked like they may have been trendy once upon a time but are now tired and cheap looking. The hallways are dark. The location is great but I would much prefer to stay at the Arts directly across the street as it is classier and has a great lobby bar.

Stayed her for business. Loved the room even though it was tiny. Super cozy with nice bedding and a cute balcony. No wireless which was annoying but besides that a great little place in a lovely location.
