Walked passed it three times which is easy to do when looking for almost anything in Florence. Like the Tardis inside with no indication from outside of a classy reception and bar plus relaxing sitting area. Side entrance not exactly easy to find from the street.
Directly on the Arno and close to everything. Rooms brilliant and breakfast until 11am which is rare for hotels nowadays.
Reception people were so helpful it was almost embarrassing and almost second guessed me on occasion.
Pino Grigio 16 euro a bottle in the small bar which we found was a fraction of what was charged at some of the overpriced and pretentious restaurants.
Paid £150 per night double room B&B through Expedia (sorry Tripadvisor) including local taxes. Not cheap but for the position and quality would be hard to beat.
In a word - brilliant.
