we went passed July, this place is pretty much a boutique hotel, the owners are there, Rossana personally take care of the kitchen, the breakfast is GREAT, their cappuccino & espresso are the best. They would take care of you recommending you where to eat, how to get to the places faster, where to park your car in case you are driving.
WIFI free, they have small kitchen with utensils.
We stayed on a little suite with 2 rooms, for the price we paid was well worth it.
I will definitively recommend to you and once you are there at the the Croce Piazza you would find a very small souvenir store with cute stuff and great prices.
Buon viaggio !!!!!!

Excellent value, family run hotel, within easy walking distance to all main attractions. Owners were friendly and helpful as were all staff. Breakfast was very good and we would stay there again if we go to Florence. There is also a lift which is very helpful to older people, especially with large cases. The room was spacious with attached kitchen, including frig which we found very useful.

A great hotel run by a family. Great location. Great rooms. In a quiet street with a great pizza place - baldino- round the corner . About 15 minutes walk from thE duomo. Great breakfast. Only improvement was the breakfast starts quite late. If you have tours which leave at 830 or 9am - you won't get breakfast. I was a little disappointed with this - and no option to have room service or a breakfast box with orange juice and a croissant

Wonderful little family owned hotel off to the side of Santa Croce Cathedral. Owners go out of their way to help and get to know you. Great complimentary breakfast. They always asked about our little expeditions, and had nice conversations with us.
Just across the street from Santa Croce, which was our favorite church to visit, with excellent museum, tomb of Michelangelo, Galaleo, and very impressive early renaissance work.
Gets a little noisy at night with the revellers on the steps of Santa Croce, but that's all a part of the experience. I appreciated my ear plugs on Saturday night.
Elevator was a good addition. Our room was like a little apartment. Bed was very comfortable. The nights were cool in early June, but I can see how it might be hot later in the month, so you might request a fan, since the AC is not as cool as we are accustomed to in America.
Very easy walk to all the old town attractions and museums, including Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Accademia, Uffizi, etc. We loved just hanging out on the plaza near the Uffizi, with street musicians, artists, performers.
All in all......staff was wonderful, room was wonderful, location was wonderful....will stay there again....aleady wanting to return. Thanks Elton and Mrs. Elton. !

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful owners. Good rates and close to everything we wated to see. Clean comfortable rooms, good beds. The owners cannot do enough to make yur stay enjoyable, nothing is too much trouble. We will all stay there next time instead of being scattered all over the city.

Room Tip: The suite is lovely for family

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is very nice, clean and spacious. We loved the staff there, they were very dedicated to our happiness and were very helpful and pleasant. They let us keep our bikes inside a common area after dark and we locked them up outside during the day. There's nice carpeted stairs and an elevator although we never used it. In our room we had a huge wardrobe, desk and bed. The bathroom was average size but there was also a kitchen with sink, counter, table, fridge etc. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. So much to chose from and everything was fresh and yummy. They would also make you drinks if you wanted. There are plenty of pamphlets to chose from sitting around the hotel if you want ideas on what to do while in Florence. The hotel was also in a great location for us. We easily walked to the Ponte Vecchio area, the Duomo, the galleria d'accademia and back to the hotel several times per day. I think the WiFi was only for common areas because I could only get 2 bars up in our room but it was free and there was a common computer near reception that you could use. It wasn't the cheapest place we stayed but we really enjoyed it there and would stay there again for sure.

Returned from spending six nights at this hotel yesterday and honestly couldn't have been any happier with my stay there. The hotel is perfectly located to all major attractions in Florence and about a 25 minute walk to the train station. The hotel staff were amazing. They were all really friendly, helpful and just genuinely nice!
The hotel room was very basic and slightly dated but it was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and very clean. They're we're no signs of bed bugs - something I am paranoid about! The bathroom was clean and tidy and there were complimentary toiletries. The shower was a little cramped and there was no bath but this didn't matter to us.
We got a buffet breakfast every morning which was really good. They had everything you could have wanted! Fresh pastries, salami, cereal, yougherts, fruits, toast everything! It really was good.
All in all we couldn't recommend this hotel enough! It really was fantastic!
