Only stayed one night but wish it was longer as the hotel was amazing. Judging by some of the '4*' hotels we stayed at in Italy the fact this is just classed as a 3* is a huge disservice! It really felt like a 5* room with staff that were so helpful and friendly that it really made our stay in Florence as perfect as it could be!
Located just near the main Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio you can't ask for a better location. The breakfast was served on the roof terrace and was more than adequate for getting you ready for a day of sightseeing. Our receptionist managed to get us some last minute reservations at the Academia gallery and gave us some excellent recommendations for food too!
The room was big, comfy and modern with a beautiful clean bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable we had experienced across Italy and despite being centrally located we didn't notice it being noisy at all at night. We would definitely recommend this hotel, for us it is one of the nicest, most friendly hotels we have ever stayed in!

I stayed two nights in this hotel which is just near the Ponte Vecchio and in a quiet pedestrian street. The staff were great, the breakfast good on a beautiful terrace at the top with a lovely vista of Florence and you are given a welcome drink in the afternoon on the terrace. The room was lovely, modern and spacious, great air con, lovely comfortable beds and pillows (delux double), great shower and sky TV. I walked from the station but only had a small bag, a taxi costs about 8 Euros. You can walk to everything from here and you are right in the middle of one of the main streets full of restaurants and shops. I have read a lot of reviews of this hotel and they are all really accurate. If I was to have one negative comment it was that the wifi dropped out every few minutes but hey you are not in Florence to be on you ipad the whole time!! You will not be dissappointed with this great find in the heart of the old town. A visit to Palazzo Pitti is a must. I love shopping but a little dissappointed in the San Lorenzo market this visit however there are hundreds of fabulous shops everywhere with amazing clothes, shoes and handbags, Florence really lives up to its reputation. I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Virginia

we stayed at this hotel for one night and was pleasantly surprised at this unassuming hotel entrance. very modern and only three blocks from the Ponte Vecchio and the shopping area. it is located in a pedestrian area (only taxis and cars with approved passes allowed to drive in the area). It is also only a five minute walk from the Uffizi Museum and the Duomo. The hotel included breakfast and was more than sufficient to get us started on our day. We would definitely stay there again. Trip Advisor did not include an option to call this hotel a 'boutique' hotel but that is what we would consider it.

My son and I stayed 5 nights recently at Hotel Della Signoria in Florence and loved this charming little hotel right in the heart of Florence. Everything was better than we had hoped- the room was very comfortable, clean and very nicely updated. The room was also quiet, despite being near a busy pedestrian area. Another pleasant surprise- the TV and the WiFi worked flawlessly (not our experience in Rome). The rooftop breakfast room was wonderful- what better way to start your day than eating breakfast in a bright room with a view of Florence!?!
Every interaction with staff was pleasant. they were efficient, and accomodating, and readily helped us secure reservations at local restaurants, and even helped us map out a bus route to an off the beaten path museum. We had such a positive experience, we wanted to share what a lovely little gem the HDS is!

Room Tip: rooms with a view of charming via delle terme are nice

So nice to have a bit of space and a good air conditioner, in our room, particularly in the middle of Florence. Staff at this hotel are fantastic. You need to meet Daniele the cocktail waiter on the 7th floor...you get a complimentary welcome cocktail with your room and then we ordered another he recommended...the care and pizzaz he puts into his cocktails is worth watching. The bar and breakfast room has great views.

We just spent 4 nights at the Della Signoria. It has been renovated in the past few years so the beds are comfortable, the bathroom shower has great pressure and it is all clean and well maintained. The doors and windows to the outside are pretty soundproof, great for light sleepers. Breakfast has a broad selection and the desk folks are great. 2 blocks from the Piazza, 2 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio.

Room Tip: Their "view rooms" mean a partial view of one or more of the monuments. If you have a cho...

Honestly speaking you can not find better location for hotel in Florence, if you are tourist and you want to see the centre of the city by foot... 50 m from the historical bridge, Gallery Uffizi and La signoria plaza... Perfect location for staying but of course not for cars... Florence centre is terrible and almost everywhere is forbidden for cars. GPS showing routes that are absolutely forbidden and watched by telecameras. Ask the hotel before exactly how and where to park if you are going by car. This hotel has hopefully a parking 100 m from the hotel with pick up service for 25 euros per day (cheap price for day parking in historical centre of Florence).

Hotel is very new and cozy inside, exactly as i prefer... I think one of the few modern and new hotels internally and for this and for the central location and the normal price i rate it with 4.

On the other hand, the breakfast is simply inefficient. (The second day we did not even go there in the paid breakfast, and we searched from something outside), the wi-fi needs almost every 3 minutes again and again password and username (very annoying), and the one day there was mundial playing in a crowded cafe-sandwich near the hotel, and we were hearing the voices of the crowd until 4 in the morning...

In conclusion for the room itself (because it was quite new) and the location i would recommended it

Room Tip: i guess that higher floor rooms (4th, 5th, 6th) are better and quieter if do not facing the street
