My husband and I went to Italy for a one week "babymoon" and florence was our second stop. The staff at this hotel were less than helpful, the breakfast was sub-par with nothing but an assortment of breads and cheap tasting lunch meat. As far as location, while yes very close to everything, in the evening you must pass through a very shady neighborhood to get into the touristy locations and main restaurants. For the price, we were definitely not expecting gourmet food or 5 star service but this felt like more of a hostel trying to pass as a 4 star hotel.

We are three ladies traveling together and stayed 2 nights in Florence. Elevator was TINY and claustrophobic, which was difficult for luggage. Thank goodness with all the great food in Florence we got a workout in by doing the stairs the rest of the time. The staff was borderline rude, and not very helpful when asked certain questions. We did not feel very safe walking back to hotel in the evening hours. The beds were rock hard and linens seemed old and "pilled". They gave us a wheelchair accessible room, which had a big bathroom, but the shower situation was very messy due to no shower curtain. The complimentary breakfast was a big disappointment. It seemed like the staff were bothered by us being there.

Do stay here, especially room number 5 on the 3rd floor. It is next to the cleaners cupboard. Loads talking and constant banging of doors from 7am until midday, everyday. Very annoying. Asked for a coffee as I missed breakfast, the lady kindly presented me a cup then asked for money, breakfast was included. Lift is to small and very slow. We stayed for a week room got cleaned twice and had to ask for clean towels. Ruined our stay in Florence as we was tired everyday. Only plus is good location and free Internet access. Think again before booking. Will never stay here again and not be recommending to anyone.

Dear guest,
I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us.
Our cleaning ladies do not start working before 9 am and normally they work in the rooms. I am sorry if they were loud and this annoyed you

Room is cleaned everyday but you need to leave the room in the moring when the cleaning ladies are working. If you go out after 1 pm the cleaning ladies have already left. That's why they managed to clean it only 2 times.
Breakfast is included in the price if taken from 7.30 am till 10 am. Again, if you come when you wake up at 1 pm, then it can not be considered breafast but a coffee that you ask for and so it needs to paid.
Our elevator is small, and we have written this information on the front page of our web page. Just let me underline that the majority of the houses of the centre do not have an elevator and so having a small one is considered a luxury.
We are a centrally located, simple hotel with very helpfull staff and the reception is on the third floor with a small lift. Think about this when booking.

Perfect location. Very sweet staff. We're coming back for sure. Good breakfast. Walking distance to several beautiful and interesting places. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Quiet and nice hotel. We visited Pisa by train and it was a very easy to find beautiful attractions in Firenze. The staff were very helpful to recomment beautiful and interesting places in the sorrounding area. I love it.
