This was one of our highlights in Florence. There is an amazing church/basilica behind the green and white facade. It contains some excellent religious artworks and is a very moving and atmospheric experience. (unlike the Duomo). The museum is also very interesting and the cloisters are very peaceful. There is also an unusual cemetry- The cloister of the dead.Much to see and experience but we thought the entry fee was good value. Can book in advance (we didn't) and would suggest you do during busy periods. Florence can get totally full of tourists!
