For its class in Florence, an excellent pick. Great location, much larger than average rooms, nice staff, and a limited selection but tasty breakfast with good cappucino (ignore the machine option and ask for the real stuff).

Pros--location (convenient to Duomo, Uffizi, and the train station, reasonable bus/cab to airport), comfortable bed, large room, high-fashion street with no street vendors other than a couple of musicians.

Cons--shower awkward (very common issue in Italy; on the Italian scale it was better than average), noise from plumbing pump was bad one night but hotel fixed next day. Room could use more/brighter lighting.

Loved:
Location was perfect. Very close to all key attractions.
Room was stylish and pretty. Spacious.
Staff were nice and helpful.

To improve:
Breakfast was ok but not great, a bit disappointed in the quality. Like another traveler mentioned in review, the cappuccino could be better (was my least favorite in my entire Italy trip this time).
Bathroom somehow seemed like a disconnection from the room, was very basic and nothing stylish about it. It smelled of bleach when I arrived. Shower was small and messy (the glass panel was very small).

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend a stay here. The location is just perfect, about a 3-4 minute walk to the Duomo and 5-10 minute walk from all the other main sight-seeing attractions and an approximate 10 minute walk to the main train station. Everywhere is lovely, however the Boboli gardens are beautiful and have amazing views.

The hotel has great decor, good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a good size, along with the bathroom. Even though your right in the centre and on a very popular shopping street, the hotel was very quiet.

If your looking for somewhere nice to eat nearby, then we would recommend a restaurant called Rose's, turn right out of the hotel and then take the first street on the right. We had a lovely meal, there were also another couple of restaurants there that looked lovely.

We would highly recommend the hotel and would return.

we stayed here for 2 nights in April. The lady at the front desk kindly upgraded us to a bigger room and we really enjoyed it. Great decor, space, and conveniently located. Staff were wonderful, incredibly polite and helpful about what to see and where to eat. Highly recommended!

Brilliant location
Good sized rooms
Lovely staff and free wifi
Breakfast adequate with eggs to order
Very long queues for Dumo and David statue
Florence is very beautiful and you can walk everywhere in the historic centre. Food is very expensive and unusually you pay a tax/charge to sit inside a restaurant.
