One could not find a better hotel for location, professional yet friendly staff and comfort. You are steps away from everything in Florence. Enzo will take care of your tour needs. Franco, Bart and Simone will remember your cocktail order and be on hand to greet you at breakfast. I'm not sure which I will miss more - the city of Florence or the hotel and staff. Thanks for making our trip memorable.

The Bernini was a beautifully appointed hotel, and situated within short walking distance to basically everything! 10 -15 minutes walks to the Duomo, Medici Palace, the market, the Oltrarno neighborhood, the Academia, and 3 minutes to the Ufffizi. Breakfast was excellent with many choices of fresh foods and cooked.

I chose this hotel because it is only a block from piazza della signoria. The location was great, but the hotel was fabulous. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The desk staff were all wonderful. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and local things to do.
The beds slept well and the linen sheets were a nice touch.

Stayed 8 nights on a tour, found the accommodations excellent, room was spacious for a European hotel. To get to some of the rooms you have to go up and down a number of steps, so people with limited mobility need to ask for rooms where this does not occur. Yes there are a lot of young people on the the streets Friday and Sat nights, stayed on the 5th floor and with the windows closed the noise was not a problem. The narrow alleys amplify the noise. The staff were superb and the breakfast excellent. The location is the best in Florence right near all the attractions. The Wifi was free and fast. Would stay there again

Room Tip: Rooms higher up are quieter, if possible get a room not facing the street

Lot of grand impressive public rooms. Very convenient to the main attractions in Central Florence good breakfast but otherwise took our meals out. Very comfortable room and bed. Some late evening and early morning traffic noise. We got a good deal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would come here again.

The street in front of the hotel is full of young people shouting, singing and laughing all the night... Impossible to sleep! That'a a pity, because the hotel is beautiful, the location, perfect and the staff, friendly.

Dear Guest,
thank you for your feedback, I was delighted to read your review. We do have a great location here at The Bernini which is one of the many reasons why our guests return to stay with us, we are in the heart of Florence and near the main attractions, so sometimes the surrounding streets could be noisy, that's way all our rooms have sound proof window.
Please contact me the next time you’re in Florence and we will do our best to allocate you one of our quieter rooms on the internal side of the building,
Kind Regards,
David Foschi

We had read reviews on trip advisor prior to choosing the Bernini Palace for a 5 night break in Florence. We arrived on Sunday evening via transport arranged by the hotel. The driver was waiting for us on arrival, at the airport, he chatted to us about Florence on the journey to the hotel. On arrival we were greeted and promptly checked in and shown to our room. We were in room 401 which was at the rear of the hotel and very quiet. It was immediately opposite the lift and to our surprise had two storeys and a seating area. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, with lovely linen, towels and toiletries. There was also a well stocked mini bar. The air conditioning had not been turned on at the time we arrived but the reception staff were very quick to find a fan for us as it was quite warm. We dined in the hotel's restaurant on our first evening. The staff were very friendly and made us welcome and we had a lovely meal. The location of the hotel is exceptional, only a seven minute walk to both the Duomo and Ponte Veccio with Piazza della Signoria and The Uffizi Gallery a couple of minutes away! A day trip to San Gimignano, Sienna and the Chianti wine region organised by the concierge was a fabulous day out with an excellent driver Silvio who was very knowledgeable and funny with it! Our room was kept very clean and tidy and the beds turned down each evening with chocolate left by the pillow. Breakfast was very nice with a choice of cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage as well as a selection of meat, cheese, cereals, yoghurt and pastries. Tea, coffee, juices, water and even sparkling wine were available also. all the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. This is a fabulous base for a trip to the beautiful city of Florence and should we ever be lucky enough to return we would stay here again.

Room Tip: It was very quiet at the back on the 4th floor
