My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week over Christmas and New Year. Firstly, the location of the hotel is excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast room stunning. We stayed in the hotel for New Years Eve - the meal and entertainment were brilliant. I hightly recommend the hotel.

This was our dream trip to Italy. My promised 10yr anniversary gift. This hotel in the heart of Florence made me feel like a queen. The room was delightful, right out of a rennaisance dream with a bed dressed with wonderful linens. Dressing room and bathroom were large and lavishly covered with red and black marble. Our window opened up to the square and was lavishly draped in gold silk draperies. Close to the Duomo, shopping and dining. Excelent service.

This hotel was in a super convenient location. The staff was very helpful in directing us to restaurants and sights. The room was spacious and clean, with fresh fruit and free internet. We had breakfast included but probably wouldn't have eaten there otherwise. The food was just ok, but on the positive side, they serve it a little longer than other hotels for those days that you want to sleep in! In Florence, go to Osvaldo's for dinner and get the steak florentine - amazing! And don't miss the view from the top of Il Duomo - truly spectacular. We went late in the afternoon and the line was short, might have had to wait 30 minutes. But don't go if you have any health issues or are claustrophobic - very steep and narrow! My legs trembled for half an hour after we left there.

My wife and I stayed here fro the second half of our honeymoon, and could not have bene happier. The staff was attentive and friendly, remembered our names and room number, and were very helpful making reservations for museums, transport to the airport, and exchanging money.
Our room was clean and extremely comfortable. The only complaint is that there was no alarm clock in our room, though there wasn't in Rome either, so it did not come as a shock- merely a minor inconvenience.
We were literally a block from Piazza della Signore, and within 15 minutes of most major sights. Breakfast was fantastic and served by polite and attentive staff.
If (when) we return to Florence, this hotel is certainly at the top of our list of places to stay.

I stayed at Bernini in Nov. 2007. The room was really nice. The bed, the bathroom and everything was very clean and had a luxury feel to it. There was a bowl of fruits welcoming us and every night there were mints on the bed. The location is extremely convenient for many major sights including Uffizi and Bargelo. We could see beautiful sculptures on adjcent buildings really close. The view was fantastic. The staff was generally very courteous and helpful. And the breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly!

We stayed at the Bernini for our wedding in Florence. It was the perfect hotel for a number of reasons. We were married in the Piazza del Signoria in the town hall. It was about a half block walk from our hotel to the hall. It's right near all the tourist sights in the city.

Our room was lovely. The bedroom was on the smaller size, but the bathroom was outstanding! There were two sinks and a wide vanity. There was also a separate door for the shower and toilet. It was great because we just had so much gear on our wedding day and it was nice that we weren't running in to each other.

The staff was great too. They helped us with getting my dressed pressed and with getting champagne and strawberries delivered to the room. We also had a few faxes that were sent to us that were delivered promptly.

Overall, it was a great stay. Our wedding was perfect and the Hotel Bernini was certainly the perfect place to stay.
